Who we are ?
G.V.P. Sr. Sec School located at Jodhpur-Nagaur High-way was started as an Upper Primary School in the year 1992. It was upgraded to Secondary level in the year 1999 & to Senior Sec. Level in the year 2001. During a short span of 10 years it has immensely grown in size & has become the most prestigious institution. From LKG to VIII standard co-education has been introduced with effect from academic session 2011-12 and presently it is studying co-education all classes also. The school was initially established with a view to impart education through English medium. As such students are taught through English medium from Prep to XII standard. But of later it was realized that the girls passing their Upper Primary Examination from schools set up in remote rural areas through Hindi medium could not join this school because of the problem of the medium. As such from July 2002 onwards students have the choice to opt for Hindi medium also from class IX to XII.
DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS
Keeping in mind the differing perspectives of today's world & an overall development of the students, the school introduces various guilds based on the essentials of the personality development & individual excellence. The concept of guilds has emerged as a result of introspection by the school administration to provide opportunities to the students for bringing forth, fostering & enhancing their variegated abilities in order to realize the unexplored area, encourage self expression leading to a sense of achievement & satisfaction. The aim is not to create a self - engrossed individual but to develop a spirit of team work & respect for the abilities of fellow students. Thus, in short, the essence of the move in to help & develop the Potential, latent or patent of each student of the optimum & thereby enhance the all round ethos of the fraternity of students.
